A hired CTO is an employee with salary expectations. We're equity partners — our success is directly tied to yours. We bring not just technical skills but strategic partnership, network access, and shared risk/reward alignment that an employee relationship cannot provide.
We can work alongside existing technical talent. Our role might be as a senior technical advisor, interim CTO, or team lead — whatever structure best serves the venture's needs. We help level up existing engineers while driving critical technical decisions.
We're selective and typically work with 1-2 ventures at a time during active build phases. This ensures we can give each partnership the dedicated attention it deserves. Once a venture reaches stability, we may take on additional partnerships.
We continue as your technical partner through growth phases — scaling infrastructure, supporting fundraising technical due diligence, helping hire and mentor your first engineering hires, and evolving the architecture as the product matures.
